I only use this book when I’m really upset and stuck. It’s my “help me feel better” emergency protocol, basically, that hasn’t let me down. Because I only open this book when I’m frustrated and upset, I end up crying (in a good way) a lot. I often feel so lost due to my ADHD that having this book as a guide makes me feel such relief, to finally have something to follow when my brain can’t compute even basic things. The author’s anecdotes and personal worries and anxieties also make me cry, because it’s so relatable for me. The layout of the book is amazing, everything about the design is ADHD friendly. The tips in it have made the difference between me lying in a fetal position, thinking “I can’t do it…” and me actually finding the courage to start intimidating work/projects/chores, realize it’s actually doable with these strategies, and getting it done before I know it! Definitely buy this for yourself or someone you care about with ADHD who is struggling. I wish I had this when I was in highschool instead of being a walking dumpster fire of a student

My anti-planner was delivered today. I’ve read the introduction and already I feel like I’ve got the support I need, to get things done, that I struggle with in my head, (thanks ADHD). My house, family (single parent of three) life and mind are going to be so organised! Here’s to the next chapter (of the anti planner and my life!)

Paid for itself the very first time I cracked the cover. I’m a high school teacher with AuDHD/hsd/lipedema with a husband with AuDHD and hEDS, and a daughter (age 9) likely with the same hEDS/AuDHD and a 3 year old son. I’ve got health issues AND a LOT of shit going on in my head. I didn’t really know if I wanted to shell out the money for this, but knew I needed more support. I got the book earlier this week, opened it this morning. Spent less than 1 minute reading/scanning before settling on the “disorganized” chapter. Picked a technique, made a list of THIRTY SEVEN tasks I had in my head at one time, then tried the technique of “sort by action.” Felt like I could breathe once I did the technique, and in only ONE HOUR, I’ve already checked EIGHT items off my list. Incredible. Just buy it! SO helpful. Bought the clean version and hopeful I can use it to help my students get unstuck in the classroom this fall, too. Thank you, Dani!!! This is so very obviously a lifetime of fucking. hard. work. compiled into one book. I’m so grateful

Just got it.
WOW!
Obviously a lover of stationery – beautifully produced.
Every bit I have read so far gives me some of that elusive motivation.

I feel like this was made for me. As a high achieving person that found out in adulthood that I have adhd, it has been a struggle to learn to work with my brain instead of against it. I have been having a hard time and bought this book. I feel seen and I can feel so much of the shame I’ve put on myself coming to the surface and ready to be addressed. Thank you for making this. I have done many therapy tools and from what I’ve learned I think this book will be very help for me as I continue to use it.
