Wow! This book is so good. It feels like it was written specifically to address all of my biggest personal challenges. And does it in a way that keeps those challenges in mind. It is visually appealing, bite size exercises that are organized in a manner that you can quickly find what you need in your context. The writing style makes it feel like you have a great friend sitting with you just trying to help you out without judgement. It’s also really funny…both the writing and the cartoons. Well worth the wait. I love this book. Absolutely astounding job on this, Dani!

My copy of The Anti-Planner arrived today. Wow. I have SO MUCH sh*t that needs to be done, and am not getting it done. I am extremely good at plans, planners, calendars, analysis, and the whole range of conventional Planner tools & skills… and The Anti-Planner takes a whole different approach. VERY STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!

This is like the Swiss army knife of procrastination-busting strategy guides and will provide support and solutions for whatever is standing in the way of you getting the “thing” done!

The best thing… it never runs out! You only have to buy it once and its contents will serve you forever. Well worth the money!

What I love the most is the way it’s laid out. You don’t need to read the whole thing before you know what strategy to try, you just need to know how you are feeling about the “thing” you’re trying to get done and jump straight to that section for relevant solutions.

There’s sections for if you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disorganised, unmotivated or discouraged and within those sections you’ll find suggested solutions based on the main drivers of that feeling. For example, the “overwhelmed” section has sub-sections for if you feel “intimidated”, “over-committed”, “panicked” and “burnt-out”.

There’s also a bonus section at the end that has a list of further helpful resources which are laid out in the same way as the other sections in the guide, by how you are feeling!

It’s comprehensive without being overly complex and is so easy to use and filled with relatable advice from Dani. Finally, and most importantly, this is for anyone who struggles with procrastination, not just those with adhd!

Got many errors while submitting this through the contact form so leaving as a review instead!

Hi Dani! I got my anti-planner yesterday and LOVE IT and have already busted through 2 sets of tasks I’ve been avoiding thanks to the timer exercise! I wanted to give you some feedback that unfortunately mine came with a noticeable unpleasant odor that makes it impossible to keep in the office while I work.. maybe due to the printing process or ink? I am also 13 weeks pregnant so definitely still have a bloodhound nose and was always sensitive to smells (like many of us with ADHD). Going to let it air out outside maybe but please let me know if you have suggestions or maybe I just got a bad book! Congrats on the release and THANK YOU for such an amazing resource!!!!

I can’t wait to dive in. I have no voice presently but I literally whisper-screamed when I saw this arrived! Then I did a little happy dance. Don’t think I’ve done an honest happy dance for years now. So fingers crossed!! (I’ll likely come back in a dozen or so years to update review as I get through the book.)
